Tasting notes

The nose is fruity with notes of blackcurrant, blackberry, and wild berries, combined with hints of undergrowth and mocha. The palate is fruity, mineral, juicy, and round, offering a beautiful acidic and fruity structure as well as a subtle smoothness. On the palate, this wine reveals notes of blackberry, blackcurrant, and subtle hints of wild strawberry, accompanied by touches of toasted oak, along with delicate notes of chocolate, caramel, and vanilla. The tannins are fine and well-structured. Good length. Serve with grilled rib of beef over vine shoots or duck aiguillettes with green peppercorn sauce. It will pair beautifully with a selection of cheeses such as Cantal or Brie. Best served between 16 and 18 °C to fully express its aromatic complexity and the elegance of its tannins.
