Product notes
The grapes come from the Maipú region in the Mendoza Valley, Argentina, an area known for its mineral-rich alluvial soils and semi-arid climate. The significant temperature variations between day and night allow for slow ripening of the Chardonnay, promoting freshness, balance, and aromatic intensity. Organic farming helps to express the full purity of the terroir in this unique wine. Natural wines are those with minimal human intervention. No sulfites are added. Natural yeasts are used, and the wine is bottled without filtration.
Production notes
El Zorrito Naranjo is a natural wine made from 100% Chardonnay grapes sourced from organic vineyards. The harvest is manual, with a 45-day skin maceration, giving the wine its amber color and tannic structure. Fermentation occurs spontaneously with indigenous yeasts, without added sulfites, and the wine is unfiltered, making it a vegan and minimally intervened wine.
Tasting notes
El Zorrito Naranjo shows a deep golden yellow color with orange highlights and a slight haze. On the nose, it offers floral aromas, tropical fruits (pineapple, mango), and notes of orange peel and sweet spices. On the palate, the acidity is lively, the texture silky yet structured, with fine tannins from the extended maceration. It is recommended to serve it between 10 °C and 12 °C. This wine pairs perfectly with rich dishes such as grilled offal (mollejas), entraña, empanadas, or spicy vegetarian dishes.
