Product notes

The Santa Julia La Oveja Blanco Natural is made from 100% Torrontés grown in the Maipú region, at the heart of Mendoza. The terroir is characterized by poor, well-drained soils that promote slow ripening and preserve the freshness of the grapes. This dry and sunny climate, with significant temperature variations between day and night, helps retain the typical floral and fruity aromas of Torrontés. The natural winemaking process, without added sulfites and using native yeasts, fully respects this terroir expression, resulting in a fresh, aromatic, and lively wine.

Production notes

Grown in Maipú, Mendoza, using certified organic practices and minimal winemaking. Hand-harvested. Traditional fermentation with native yeasts, 15 days of maceration, bottled unfiltered without added sulfites.

Tasting notes

The Santa Julia La Oveja Blanco Natural shows a pale yellow color with green highlights. Its nose is expressive and floral, dominated by delicate aromas of white flowers, peach, and nectarine, complemented by a fresh touch of citrus. On the palate, it is dry and lively, supported by a refreshing acidity that leads to a long, citrusy finish. This wine exudes beautiful freshness and light elegance, making it an ideal companion for light dishes or a convivial aperitif. It is best served between 8 and 10 °C (46–50 °F) and pairs perfectly with fresh salads, fresh cheeses, or light Asian cuisine such as sushi, sashimi, or Thai dishes with fresh herbs and citrus.
