Tasting notes
The Teruzzi Peperino Toscana Rosso IGT offers an intense and persistent aroma, marked by elegant notes of ripe black berries, black cherry, and blackcurrant, complemented by spicy and slightly peppery nuances reminiscent of black pepper and leather. On the palate, it stands out with a full-bodied structure, firm but well-integrated tannins, bringing both power and balance. The taste is rich and complex, revealing flavors of ripe dark fruits, licorice, with a subtle woody and mineral touch on the finish. The aromatic persistence is long and warm. Serve between 16 and 18 °C to fully reveal its aromas and structure. This wine pairs ideally with grilled or sauced red meats, game dishes, aged cheeses, as well as pasta dishes with tomato sauce or mushrooms. It also pairs very well with richly flavored Mediterranean dishes.
