Product notes

Well-drained and not very vigorous soils, in which the vines offer a little concentrated harvest. 75% valley bottom / 25% hillside.

Production notes

Harvests in September and October. The grapes are picked extremely ripe to produce wines that do not have harsh tannins. The vines are cultivated dry without any irrigation. Aging 12 months in French oak barrels.

Tasting notes

Deep garnet color, red-fawn edge. Characteristic and flamboyant Caymus style nose of French oak barrels and notes of cassis, saddle leather and espresso. The palate of this wine is full-bodied, rich with plentiful supple tannins and a hint of rustic oatmeal. Will be able to accompany all types of classic meat dishes, beef, lamb, duck, game, ribs, barbecue. Also good with Asian dishes, hearty fish dishes, mushrooms and pasta.
