About this winery
Over the millennia, the persistent flow of the most powerful river in the American West has carved a path through the tough basalt of the Columbia Basin, creating a gap between the states of Washington and Oregon. A fall poured into rapids into the narrow canal on the outskirts of the village of Silailo, later called Celilo, and fed into basins, the source of water and life for the First Nations people of the region.
