Product notes
Soil and clay-siliceous and clay-limestone soil.
Production notes
Traditional cultivation, plowing, reasoned control, severe pruning, suckering, green harvest and leaf stripping. Manual harvest, sorting table. Traditional vinification with pumping over in the air for 10-15 days in order to obtain a very strong bright red color. Aging 12 months in oak barrels.
Tasting notes
Intense nose of black fruits, embellished with peppery and liquorice notes. The structure is long and complex. Nice balance between the expression of tannins, aromatic richness and suppleness. A young Clos Triguedina vintage will accompany foie gras, red meats in sauce and game. An older vintage will go perfectly with truffles, grilled red and white meats, game or even cheeses.
