Purchased by Mr. Mauro Pacini in 1983, Fattoria la Lecciaia is an enchanting 60 hectare property, surrounded by the vineyards of some of Montalcino's oldest and most renowned estates. The estate has 15 hectares of vines, 12 of which are registered for the production of Brunello di Montalcino. The rest of the property is under olive groves and woods. The unique terroir of this small but world-famous micro-zone of the Montalcino appellation naturally enhances the aromas and elegance of Sangiovese grapes, allowing Fattoria la Lecciaia to produce the most typical “Brunello di Montalcino” wines: classic and intense, suitable for long aging.
