Product notes
Château Tour de Marchesseau is located on the border of the town of Pomerol on gravel clay soils which give this cru its harmony and finesse. Beautiful graves on old terraces of the Isle valley.
Production notes
Mechanical harvest. Traditional vinification while respecting the structure of each vintage. Slow maceration 3-4 weeks, fining with fresh egg white then light filtration before bottling. Aging 12 months in oak barrels.
Tasting notes
The wine is distinguished by its intense and deep red color. The nose has notes of red fruits such as cherry, raspberry with also some more spicy, chocolate and vanilla notes brought by a fine and melted oak. On the palate, the wine is characterized by its volume and fat from the start. Good structure, good length. Wine of finesse and generosity. Goes well with white meats and game birds, but also hard cheeses.
