Product notes
This classic Carneros Chardonnay was grown primarily on the Schug Estate vineyard, with additional barrels from partner producers Ricci, Wildcat and Iund Vineyards. Sandy and clay loam soil, maritime climate.
Production notes
Manual harvest from September 17 to October 19, 2018. The Chardonnay vines grow under the cooler temperatures of the Carneros vineyards. The wine undergoes a traditional European-style fermentation, in 100% barrels. No malolactic fermentation. Aged on lees in French barrels, 20% new barrels.
Tasting notes
It offers a ripe, spicy and tropical bouquet and flavors reminiscent of citrus, spicy pears and apples. Its well-balanced acidity gives it a clean and crisp finish, which makes it an excellent wine for gastronomy. Perfect pairing for soups, seafood, poultry, veal and pasta. Serve at 11-12 ° C.
