About this winery
The history of the property begins in the 8th century, when the Knights of Saint John of Jerusalem founded a Commandery. These monk-soldiers were also connoisseurs of wine. They chose to cultivate the vines in these places after having appreciated the qualitative terroir. Nothing remains of the medieval buildings, but the current owner, Claude Comin, heir to a line of winegrowers dating back to 1884, has lovingly restored the 18th century mansion by doubling the area and creating an ultra...

Clay and limestone soils.
Production notes
Mechanical harvest from September 20 to October 15. Sorting of the bunches in the cellar. Vinification in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. Traditional vinification. Aging in temperature-controlled vats.
Tasting notes
Beautiful intense purple color. Nose with aromas of candied fruit, limestone and wild mint. Compact and fleshy on the palate with a concentrate of maturity from the Merlot grape, giving this wine opulence and density. Will be enjoyed with cooked red meats, beef bourguignon and cheeses.
