Product notes
Soil of granitic origin, with red loam-quartz structure.
Production notes
Manual Harvest March 15th to April 15th. Fermentation 84% in stainless steel tanks, 16% in used barrels at controlled temperature of 22-26°C for 12 to 18 days. 100% native yeasts. Malolactic fermentation. Aged for 12 months in used barrels (16% new barrels).
Tasting notes
Ruby-red colour. Great fruit intensity, aromas of blackberries, currants and cassis with notes of cinnamon, black pepper and tobacco leaves. Slight hints of moka and sour cherries. It feels well balanced, with soft tannins and crisp acidity that shape an impressive structure on the palate. Serve with red meat, steak, roasted grilled lamb.
