About this winery

The history of the De Bortoli family is one of determination and triumph that begins at the beginning of the precedent century in a Europe in the middle of a world war, and the story is now known across Australia, several generations later. Product notes

Another dry winter followed by late spring rains enabled vines to produce a healthy crop of fruit. A warm summer started this harvest early, kicking off in the last week of January. With crops slightly lighter than average and no disease, quality is above average.

Production notes

Picked in the cool dark of night, gently pressed and fermented in select French and American oak. We incorporate the complexing step of secondary fermentation to add weight and depth.

Tasting notes

Easy drinking medium bodied wine with plenty of depth. Fresh grassy Semillon and stone fruited Chardonnay are completed by French & American oak for a beautifully luscious balanced wine.
