Gold Hill is a result of a lifetime experience for brothers Sant & Gurbachan. Established in 2009, Gold Hill’s focus has been to produce wines that reflect the charm of the South Okanagan. - Hand harvesting - Wine making process: Stainless steel fermentation - Ageing: 8 months French oak barrels, therefore 35% new.
Tasting notes
Aromas of plum, cherry and a hint of strawberry jam with underlying tones of light oak, vanilla and toffee. Soft silky tannins with a medium bodied structure with nice flavours of blueberry and blackberry to finish the wine. Lingering notes of cedar and plums on the palate. - Food paring: Chicken and light meats, and lightly spiced dark meats such as roast duck, turkey and lean cuts of beef. Wine ageing potential: 5 to 7 years
