Product notes

The tiny village of Watervale (population 246), nestled in South Australia’s Clare Valley, is renowned for the quality of its Riesling. Jim Barry Watervale Riesling is picked from a special part of the Florita vineyard in Watervale. This famous Riesling vineyard consistently achieves full ripeness, with high natural acid levels.

Tasting notes

This wine displays a straw colour in the glass. Aromas of citrus rind and brown lime, with a hint of rockmelon and floral notes. On the palate, there is great citrus drive, with lemon and lime zest and grapefruit flavours. A firm but fleshy line with a long finish of white florals and wet stone. A mouth watering, classic Watervale Riesling.
