Product notes

Clay and limestone soils, stony on hilly reliefs. The climate is semi-continental with hot and dry summers. The average annual rainfall is 650 mm.

Production notes

Manual harvest. The grapes are harvested in mid-September, at full maturity. Traditional vinification. The grapes, after pressing, macerate cold. After the start of fermentation, the wine is pumped over twice a day. Fermentation time of approximately six days. Partly aged in stainless steel vats, in order to preserve the fruity character typical of pinot noir, and in oak barrels, to bring complexity and roundness.

Tasting notes

Ruby red with brilliant reflections, dense enough for a Pinot Noir. A pleasant bouquet of cherry and red fruits, notes of undergrowth and tobacco. Soft and harmonious. A very juicy attack with notes of cherry and ripe red fruit, good acidity. The tannins are silky and well melted, giving an impression of very pleasant harmony. The fruity aromas fill the palate so that the structure of the wine gives off a nice persistence and a fresh and fruity finish. This wine can be enjoyed alone or as an accompaniment to white meats, cold meats, smoked fish and poultry. Serving temperature: 14 to 16 ° C.
