Product notes

Originating from clay-limestone and alluvial soils in the heart of Provence, the terroir of Château Astros benefits from a sunny and breezy Mediterranean climate. Organic farming enhances a rich biodiversity, producing wines of balance, freshness, and finesse.

Production notes

The grapes are harvested at night to preserve freshness. After direct pressing, the juices are cold clarified and then fermented at low temperature in stainless steel tanks. The winemaking process aims to preserve the aromatic expression and the delicacy of the fruit. No malolactic fermentation is carried out to maintain the wine’s natural freshness.

Tasting notes

The Astros, Côtes de Provence AOP organic wine, offers a clear and bright robe with pink reflections. On the nose, it expresses fresh and fruity aromas of strawberry, raspberry, and citrus, enhanced by delicate floral notes. On the palate, it is lively and balanced, with beautiful freshness and a clean finish. Ideally served between 8 and 10 °C, this wine pairs perfectly with composed salads, grilled fish, seafood, as well as light Mediterranean dishes such as ratatouille or tapenade.
