Product notes
The vineyards from which Zingari comes are located at the foot of the hills, partly in the village of Suvereto and partly in Riotorto. The soil is mainly clay and sandy. The climate is influenced by the nearby Tyrrhenian sea.
Production notes
Manual harvest in the second half of August. Maceration 7-10 days. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Complete malolactic fermentation. The vinification includes technical experiments, such as the use of a micro-oxygenation device. Aging in stainless steel vats. After bottling in a sterile atmosphere, the wine undergoes aging in the bottle for 3 months.
Tasting notes
the wine is characterised by floral notes reminiscent of geranium leaf, red fruit notes such as cherry and raspberry accompanied by balsamic hints such as eucalyptus and sandalwood. On the palate, the wine is juicy, its structure is balanced and enveloping, with silky soft tannins and lively acidity. Ageing contributes subtly with toasty nuances emphasising the wine's complexity. The result is a wine with a vibrant personality and distinctive finesse. The savoury and persistent leaves a pleasant sensation of elegance and freshness.
