About this winery

The vineyard, owned by Adrien Tramier in the Médoc in Bordeaux, has applied the principles of sustainable cultivation for several years now. These principles help to minimize the impacts of phytosanitary protection on humans by reducing them to the strict minimum and favoring natural means. A vinification without artifice makes it possible to continue the principles of the reasoned culture until in the cellar.

Product notes

Soil of clay-limestone, clay-siliceous, gravel.

Production notes

Late harvest (end of October) practiced since 1976. Manual and machine with sorting of the harvest. Outdoors, at a temperature of 20 to 25 ° C, sulfur free. Maceration on pulps and pips for more than 6 months. After running off, the wine matures on light lees. Very long aging in stainless steel vats, then bottling with a very low contribution of sulphites, in order to allow the wine to age while keeping its freshness.

Tasting notes

Complex aromas of ripe fruit, good balance, very supple tannins, good length in the mouth. Serve as an aperitif or with a rack of lamb with herbs, grilled meats and cheeses.
