Product notes

The terroir of this wine is characterised by mineral-rich soils, often composed of clay and galestro, which promote good drainage and slow, steady ripening of the grapes. This geological context, combined with a Mediterranean climate with significant temperature variations between day and night, allows the wine to develop complex aromas and a beautiful freshness.

Production notes

The grapes are harvested at full maturity, often by hand to ensure their integrity. Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats to preserve the freshness and aromas of the fruit. Carefully controlled maceration extracts supple tannins and a beautiful structure. The wine is then aged in oak barrels, adding finesse and complexity before bottling.

Tasting notes

Brilliant ruby red with garnet reflections, this wine reveals fragrant and complex aromas of maraschino cherry, warm spices like cinnamon and nutmeg, alongside subtle notes of vanilla and anise from careful oak aging. On the palate, it is full-bodied and well-balanced, with sweet, soft tannins that ensure a smooth texture and a long, aromatic finish. Perfectly suited to accompany roasted red meats and poultry braised in Aglianico, it expresses both power and finesse. Serve chilled between 16 and 18 °C to highlight its rich flavors and elegant structure.
