Product notes
Production notes
The CDA Corona de Aragón Garnacha Blanca wine is made from carefully hand-harvested grapes, ensuring an optimal selection of fruit at perfect ripeness. After harvesting, the grapes are quickly transported to the winery to preserve their freshness and delicate aromas. The winemaking process begins with a gentle pressing of the grapes to extract a clear and bright juice. Alcoholic fermentation then takes place at a low temperature, typically between 14 and 16 °C, in stainless steel tanks to preserve the freshness and fruity aromas characteristic of the Garnacha Blanca grape. No oak aging is used, allowing the wine to retain its pure aromatic expression and lively character. Once fermentation is complete, the wine may be clarified and stabilized before careful bottling to preserve its integrity. This winemaking process focuses on freshness, finesse, and aromatic expression, essential characteristics of this white wine from the Cariñena region.
Tasting notes
This wine displays a pale yellow color with green highlights, bright and clear, reflecting its youth and freshness. On the nose, it reveals elegant and intense aromas of ripe white fruits such as pear and apple, accompanied by delicate floral notes (white flowers, acacia) and a slight hint of citrus that adds liveliness. Mineral nuances can also be perceived. On the palate, the wine is balanced and fresh, with a lively acidity that enlivens the whole. Its texture is supple and slightly creamy, offering a pleasant roundness without heaviness. Flavors of ripe fruits and citrus linger delightfully, while the finish is fresh and slightly saline. The ideal serving temperature is between 10 and 12 °C, allowing the aromas to fully express themselves while maintaining freshness and vivacity. This fresh and aromatic wine pairs perfectly with light and flavorful dishes that do not overpower its finesse. It ideally accompanies seafood and shellfish such as shrimp, oysters, or scallops, prepared simply or as ceviche, as well as grilled fish or fish with light sauces, such as sea bass, sea bream, or cod. It also pairs very well with composed salads featuring fresh ingredients like arugula, citrus fruits, nuts, or goat cheese, as well as grilled or steamed vegetable dishes, notably asparagus, artichokes, or peppers. Finally, light Mediterranean cuisine, such as white paella, tapas, or dishes based on olive oil and aromatic herbs, perfectly complements its profile. These pairings highlight the wine’s freshness and minerality while providing a pleasant gustatory balance.
