Product notes

This wine is born from the unique terroir of Rioja Alavesa, where a combination of limestone-rich soils, moderate altitude, and a temperate climate influenced by both the Atlantic and the Mediterranean creates ideal conditions for growing Tempranillo.

Production notes

Once the grapes have reached optimal ripeness, they are brought to the winery, where alcoholic and malolactic fermentations begin naturally, at a controlled temperature, in stainless steel tanks. After these steps, the wine is aged for 17 months in American oak barrels before being bottled.

Tasting notes

This wine pairs perfectly with grilled white and red meats, oily fish such as emperor fish, and aged cheeses. It is best served between 16 and 18 °C to fully appreciate its qualities. On the palate, it reveals a lovely freshness and fruity aromas, with a pleasant initial attack. Notes of red fruits are subtly accompanied by hints of oak, coconut, and vanilla. The mouthfeel is full, persistent, and characterful—a true reflection of the personality of the grapes from this terroir.
