Production notes

Harvested on September 4th. Grapes come from old vines over 80 years old. The wine intended for Gran Reserva production is set aside after the final blending. It is aged for 28 months in oak barrels, followed by an additional three years in bottle before release.

Tasting notes

Intense black-cherry color with violet hues. On the nose, it expresses a balsamic complexity and aromatic intensity, perfectly balanced between fruit and lightly toasted aromas reminiscent of fine oak. On the palate, it is smooth and full-bodied, harmonious with the fruit, featuring concentrated, round tannins and a long finish. Recommended serving temperature: 16–18 °C. Pairs well with ham, aged cheeses, red meat, and game dishes.
