Product notes

This Chardonnay comes from a terroir composed of limestone marl as well as silty and sandy soils, located at over 300 meters in altitude. This combination of soils brings both freshness and complexity to the wine. The limestone marl provides beautiful minerality and an elegant structure, while the silty and sandy soils promote good drainage and intense aromatic development. The high altitude helps preserve natural acidity, offering a perfect balance between liveliness and aromatic richness.

Production notes

Harvesting takes place during the first two weeks of September, with grapes picked at night. The must undergoes skin maceration for 6 to 12 hours, followed by alcoholic fermentation at a low temperature.

Tasting notes

This Chardonnay displays a pretty, bright pale yellow color. Aromas of ripe peaches, fresh butter, and subtle spices create a beautiful complexity. The wine has a round and velvety texture, balanced by a pleasant freshness. Flavors of juicy peaches blend with buttery and lightly spiced notes. The balance is perfect, with a long finish that offers both finesse and richness. Serve very chilled, at 9°C. It is ideal as an aperitif and pairs well with light dishes such as starters, delicate fish, and mild cheeses.
