Product notes
The vintage is marked by a dry and warm climate, promoting optimal grape ripening. The terroir is based on red glacial gravel soils, characterized by their granular composition and excellent drainage capacity, allowing the vines to deeply access nutrients. These soils, typical of the region, contribute a beautiful minerality and unique complexity to the wine. The carefully selected, mature vines benefit from this unique terroir to fully express their potential. The yield is controlled to ensure optimal concentration and quality of the grapes, thereby contributing to the production of a rich and balanced wine.
Production notes
The manual harvest, ensuring a carefully selected crop to preserve the integrity of the grapes. The vinification follows the classic Médoc method, with a long fermentation and maceration allowing optimal extraction of aromas and tannins. This process, carried out without filtration, helps preserve the wine’s full richness and complexity. The aging lasts 12 to 15 months in oak barrels, made up of barrels aged between 1 and 7 years, bringing finesse, structure, and a subtle woody touch without overpowering the fruit.
