Product notes
Santa Julia La Oveja Blanco Natural is made from 100% Torrontés grown in the Maipú region, in the heart of Mendoza. The terroir is characterized by poor, well-drained soils that promote slow ripening and help preserve the grape’s freshness. The dry, sunny climate, with significant temperature variations between day and night, allows the retention of the floral and fruity aromas typical of Torrontés. Natural winemaking, with no added sulfites and the use of indigenous yeasts, fully respects this expression of the terroir, resulting in a fresh, aromatic, and vibrant wine.
Production notes
Uses certified organic practices and minimal intervention winemaking. Manual harvest. Traditional fermentation with indigenous yeasts, 15-day maceration, unfiltered bottling with no added sulfites.
Tasting notes
The Santa Julia La Oveja Blanco Natural displays a pale yellow color with green highlights. Its nose is expressive and floral, dominated by delicate aromas of white flowers, peach, and nectarine, enhanced by a fresh hint of citrus. On the palate, it is dry and lively, supported by a refreshing acidity that leads to a long, lemony finish. This wine exudes a beautiful freshness and light elegance, making it an ideal companion for light dishes or a convivial aperitif. It is best served between 8 and 10 °C and pairs perfectly with fresh salads, fresh cheeses, or light Asian cuisine such as sushi, sashimi, or Thai dishes with herbs and citrus.
