Product notes

Amarone Riserva "Sergio Zenato" is produced only in excellent vintages, from a selection of the best Corvina, Rondinella and Oseleta grapes from the oldest vineyards of Sant'Ambrogio in the heart of the classic area of ​​Valpolicella. An extremely balanced wine suitable for prolonged aging.

Production notes

Harvest and calibration by hand in 5kg boxes, at the beginning of October. Drying 4 months in drying lofts. Raisins are pressed in January, after natural wilting. Slow fermentation 15-20 days with the skins. Aging for 4 years in large oak barrels before refining in the bottle for at least one year.

Tasting notes

Intense ruby ​​red color, becoming garnet red over the years. Intense nose, fruity (cherry, marasca and small red fruits), spicy. Warm, full-bodied palate with a beautiful structure. Perfect accompaniment with roast meats, game, grilled steak and mature cheeses.
