The Markos brothers, carrying on the 150-year tradition of the family, established a modern winery, in 1981, in Paiania, Mesogaia in the prefecture of Attica, a land widely known for the production of wine and in particular the famous retsina wine. Today, the fourth generation is releasing its first wines made with the know-how and freshness of young winegrowers, combined with the experience of previous generations. The winery takes advantage of the 100 acre private vineyards in Mesogia and the 100 acre organically grown private vineyards in Nemea. In addition, they are supplied with grapes from cooperating producers. The cultivated varieties are: Savvatiano, Agiorgitiko, Assyrtiko. Roditis, Athiri, Moschofilero, Muscat, Malagousia, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah and Trebbiano. Retsina *: Greek resinated white (or rosé) wine, produced for at least 2000 years.
