About this winery
The year is 1890, on the Via Emilia, the most important commercial road of the town. Remigio Medici owned three successful taverns and decided to found a winery with the aim of making the most of the family vineyards, located between the Via Emilia and the foothills of the Enza valley. Product notes
Lambrusco refers to the red or rosé sparkling wine from the Lambrusco grape family. It can be vinified using the 3 classic sparkling wine-making methods.
Production notes
Manual harvest between the 2nd and 3rd week of September. Vinification by the Charmat method for the production of bubbles. Both fermentation and bubbling are natural and related to the nature of the Lambrusco Salamino grape.
Tasting notes
Intensely brilliant ruby red. intense nuance of fresh red berries, strawberries, raspberries and cherries. Excellent olfactory purity enhanced by intensity and persistence. Dry and fruity, round, fresh, lively and delectably harmonious. Very clean with the perfect balance of acidity and tannins. Pairs well with cured pork meats, such as salami, mortadella, culatello, tortellini and cappelletti.
