Product notes
An Albariño with a soul of red wine. Martín Códax produces this orange wine according to the most ancestral and primitive manual practices, originating in the regions of the Caucasus more than 6,000 years ago.
Production notes
Manual harvest in September. The bunches are put in 20 kg crates to prevent them from being crushed and thus degrading the quality. Sorting on the table in the cellar, then going through the destemmer to separate the berries from the stems. Fermentation takes place with the skins and maceration lasts 6 months, in concrete vats.
Tasting notes
Amber color with iodine reflections, typical of an Albarino produced in orange wine. Medium intensity with hints of ripe fruit like candied orange and orange jam with hints of crushed flowers (roses) and herbs. This wine is structured and tannic and has a full and round sensation on the palate.
