About this winery

Proud of its ancestral traditions, the Botter house has been guided by 3 generations of Venetians for whom wine has always been the greatest passion. For almost a century, this company has been able to integrate Italian traditions into their wine to extract the best possible products from their cuvées. Luca, Annalisa and Alessandro Botter, now head of the company, have brought a vision focused on the future and innovation.

Product notes

Clay-limestone soil and Mediterranean climate

Production notes

Harvest the second half of August. The vinification is carried out using the traditional “submerged stopper” system, carefully controlled in order to extract the delicate tannins and the characteristics of the varietal fruit. During the aging phase in stainless steel vats, in wood and in the bottle, the tannins and aromas evolve to define themselves as much as possible. Maceration lasts 12 to 15 days at controlled temperatures not exceeding 25 C.

Tasting notes

Intense purple color. Fruity aromas with hints of cherry marmalade and spicy plums with cocoa, coffee and vanilla. This wine has a very solid structure due to the high alcohol and the balance between sweet tannins and acidity. Great wine for roast and grilled meats and game dishes.
