Production notes

Harvest from early to mid-September. The 2018 vintage offers a good amount of acidity for a wine full of complexity. Co-fermentation in stainless steel with PDM yeasts on all batches. Aging 26 months in new barrels (30%), 3rd wine barrels (40%) and neutral French oak barrels (30%).

Tasting notes

Complex aromas of blackberry, plum and currant mingle with a touch of minerality and herbal. The wine unfolds on the palate with rich flavors of lush blackberry, ripe raspberry and a hint of pomegranate followed by notes of licorice, fennel and cocoa. This tasty Syrah with a firm structure and tight acidity leads to a finish of fine and silky integrated tannins.
